Aesthetics cannot be separated from function. A smile that looks good but does not rest on a stable bite will not last. That is why I work in stages, and each stage has a clear purpose.
Clinical and occlusal examination, standardised photographs, radiographs. I listen to what the patient wants and check what is possible.
I compare the options, from the most conservative to the most extensive, and explain the advantages and limits of each. The plan includes a wax-up when needed.
The proposed shape can be seen and assessed in the mouth, reversibly, before any step that cannot be undone.
Clear stages, keeping as much of the natural tooth structure as the indication allows.
